HIM Connections Expands Service Line to Include Clinical Recruitment and Staffing
Expanding recruitment services to help healthcare organizations meet the demands of clinical staffing shortages.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —November 1, 2018— HIM Connections, health information management (HIM) and healthcare IT recruitment and staffing firm, announced that it has expanded their service line to include clinical recruitment and staffing. Veteran recruiter Bridget Stevens joined the HIM Connections team in June and will spearhead the clinical recruitment services.
Healthcare staffing remains a major problem for hospitals, taking months to fill open positions. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts nursing will see the highest number of new jobs through 2024 of any position: 439,300.
“Bridget has been a great addition to the HIM Connections team,” said Kayce Dover Glover, MSHI, RHIA, president and CEO of HIM Connections. “For the past few years, our team has recruited clinical staff for non-clinical positions, such as Clinical Documentation Improvement and Utilization Management, so it’s really a natural progression for our company. Bridget’s background recruiting nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals was a perfect fit to help lead these efforts. We remain dedicated to our HIM recruitment services and look forward to serving our clients in a broader capacity. ”
Bridget Stevens, a veteran in the healthcare recruitment, brings over 21 years of experience in healthcare recuiting. Bridget uses her specialized networking and consulting skills to consistently source quality candidates. Over the course of her career, Bridget has successfully worked with hospital organizations throughout the US including UF Health Jacksonville, Vanderbilt and many more. She has also partnered and worked with organizations such as the Alabama State Nurses Association (ASNA).
“I am excited to be a part of the HIM Connections team,” said Bridget Stevens, senior account manager and clinical recruiting specialist. “I love to help candidates find great opportunities and helping clients fill critical job openings. After working independently for more than 15 years, it’s great to join HIM Connections and have the opportunity to be a part of the company’s growth and expansion into clinical recruitment.”
Stevens earned a masters degree in management information systems from University of Alabama at Birmingham and a bachelor of science in computer science degree from The University of Alabama. Learn more about Bridget here.
